SGI/Exxon’s Advancement

San Diego-based Synthetic Genomics and oil giant Exxon Mobil announced earlier this week that they have created a genetically modified strain of algae that takes a step closer to making renewable, carbon-neutral fuel grown in algae ponds a reality.
