NAA Announces Next Algae Workshop in California

he National Algae Association has announced its next algae production workshop will be held January 30, 2012 at the University of Southern California (University Park Campus—downtown). The workshop will Include a tour of Origin Oil’s facility in Los Angeles.
The NAA workshop will focus on progress in growing, harvesting and extraction methods, and discuss technologies that are ready for commercial-scale algae production. NAA is inviting proposed presentations to be submitted no later than Jan. 5, 2012 for consideration.
Membership in NAA is not required to present at or attend events. For additional information, please contact:
