The Algae Biomass Organization (ABO) has announced that the 2019 Algae Biomass Summit will take place in Orlando, Florida, September 16-19, 2019, at the Rosen Centre Hotel. The annual Summit is the world’s largest gathering of algae scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, government officials, and Fortune 500 companies that are adopting algae into their products and operations.

The Summit has become the go-to conference for commercial algae producers, the scientific community, and algae product developers advancing algae agriculture for a more sustainable source of food, feed, biofuels, nutritional supplements, plastics, pharmaceuticals and more.

“As in 2018, new products and new innovations in food and feed, health and nutrition, and biofuels and biomaterials will be a major focus of the 2019 Summit,” said Matt Carr, ABO executive director. “But we will also highlight water treatment, nutrient management, carbon capture and algae mitigation technologies essential to addressing Florida’s twin challenges of climate change and water quality.”
